Check This Out vim /usr/local/icinga/etc/objects/commands.cfg ############################################################################## # COMMANDS.CFG - SAMPLE COMMAND DEFINITIONS FOR ICINGA # # NOTES: This config file provides you with some example command definitions # that you can reference in host,

When i try to comment the line of "cfg_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/localhost.cfg" from nagoios.cfg, it give me 2 errors but no description. Reply yogendra January 7, 2014 @ 1:22 PM vikrant, When you comment your "cfg_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/localhost.cfg". In the main cfg file of Icinga(icinga.cfg), I had some entries as shown below: cfg_dir=/etc/icinga/conf.d cfg_file=/etc/icinga/conf.d/hostgroups.cfg This is the root cause of the warning. The same solution is applicable with Nagios monitoring server also.

Thanks. Warning: Duplicate definition found for host 'clp320' (config file '/etc/icinga/objects/printer.cfg', starting on line 23) Error: Could not add object property in file '/etc/icinga/objects/printer.cfg' on line 25. I just created a new windows.cfg file and am having it monitor one host.
