After doing some research in other forums etc, it looks to me like the problem that I'm experiencing could be to do with Windows SP2 (as someone else mentioned earlier), but I may try a stick from my other computer first. After, there was an error message of "Microsoft Regiter has stopped working". It may or may not work for you.
