Chapters• Only A to Z and 0 to 9 in chapter title• No Chapter mark at very beginning of movie• No Chapter mark in or within 2 seconds from any transition Put your project onto "Burn to disc image," under "iDVD, file." Yesterday encoding took me 23 1/2 hours. How in the world am I supposed to track down the problem? I have read most issues related to muxing come down to chapters, but I have not added any chapter… to my knowledge. try this
Common sense says it has to be some weird issue with audio&video. Be sure to click the DVD DL drive in the window "Burn disc in.". Find a frame from your movie, export a still of it, and then drag it into the box for a custom still frame in iDVD. Advanced -> Delete Encoded Assets (forget the warnings that come with it - just delete them!).
I finally solved the problem by working backwards. I've used "-", "&" and "," with no problem in the chapter names. It seems that Best Performance takes up the most disk space, while High Quality and Professional Quality take up a few gigabytes less. Idvd Error During Rendering/encoding Ask !
Same blank DVD's used (DVD-R single sided). This may NOT be the reason for every multiplexing error however it was the solution to mine. There Was An Error During Muxing Preparation Project Conversion multiplexing error. So I tried again, and when "verify" appeared, I clicked on "Skip." The disc finished burning and is doing fine and well. I called Apple support, they couldn't advise anything other than rebuilding the project from scratch... I tell ya, my faith in iDVD via iLife 09 is gone. Encoding Error Idvd How do you know where it is? Start the creating process again.
