Chkdsk also reported no errors. It's stating 'Error Occurred' on 'Device Port 0' 'A drive in a RAID 0 volume is failing. As far as I can figure out, an error reading data from any disk in the array one time at boot seems to cause this error message, and the message persists Maybe we can spot some problem. Are you saying that the backup should be done to an external drive (other than the two RAID drives)? Only run a check disk only if the raid been checked for problems and is working 100% other wise further issue's can happen. While the next startum chkdisk startet automatically and repaired my Windows XP. The "error occurred(0)" message is seen during startup.
