because ideally I would like to still overclock my system at 3.5Ghz but obviously want to game at that speed as well. I had accidentally set the BIOS settings to default and I "lost" my drives. What i did when my raid 5 failed is to use my single HDD to boot of and fix it that was as the OS would not boot.
