Internal Error 2738 Vbscript.dll

I've tried all the tricks (regsvr32 etc.) and it didn't help. I have also found that my vbscript.dll registration can go missing (I have recently setup auditing on the relevant COM registration keys in hopes that I can find the culprit). I've read through everything and I've followed the instructions to register the vbscript. Greene   I was running a regular "run" prompt also. news

  1. When regsvr32.exe runs it ends up registering vbscript.dll in HKCU.
  2. I still get Error 2738.
