Sean Hudson My fix took a long time but was simple in the end. Select an add-on in the Toolbars and Extensions category and click the Disable button to disable it. IE 11 runs like a champ..May this bit of info help someone else. Bonuses NO PROBLEMS OF IE 11 stops responding anymore.
