I identified the rogue .dll file and uninstalled it, (it turned out to be an annoying shopping ad file !). I began getting these errors not long after I downloaded Zone Alarm. There is a known issue with Zone Alarm and Win 2K SP1, and the fix for that is to adjust the Internet Security Settings to "Medium" vs. "High". Who would have thought that the solution was so simple?
