Repairing the drive in Disk Utility might work, but I advise against it. I'm running off of Snow Leopard right now, but in order to restore from my backup, I will need to install Leopard, and the only copy I have requires that I Catalog files node corruption: Catalog is the system generated file which keep record of file type and its recent accessing type.
