As a side note This quote mentions IE9. You had a breakpoint set to capture details for the error, so the ProcMon trace would supplement whatever you are seeing at that point. Upgrading to IE9 may be resetting them to default. I have tried resetting all IE settings, disabling all add-ons, uninstalling flash player and java, different printers, installing IE9, but nothing seems to work.
