In this example you can see the "ftpsvc" service is using port 21 through svchost.exe - which is normal. Well, that actually isn't that hard either. Thanks very much, i experienced this problem after reinstalling IIS 5.1 - Skype took over port 80...why would it do that?

Saved me a lot of time! By default, IIS uses port 80 for HTTP communication. The reason is that some other application has grabbed port 80. Gr8 job sharing this with everyone..
